Gijon International Piano Festival

Gijon International Piano Festival offers pianists an opportunity for two weeks of master classes, workshops, recitals and private instruction with renowned piano professors at the beautiful city of Gijon in northern Spain. The faculty members include Amy Gustafson (Director), Jose Ramon Mendez (Northwestern University), Julian Martin (Juilliard School), James Giles (Northwestern University), Dominique Weber (Conservatoire de Géneve), Robert McDonald (Juilliard School), Logan Skelton (University of Michigan), Douglas Humpherys (Eastman School of Music), and Jean Saulnier (University of Montreal).

The festival runs for the 20th edition from 12th to 27th August 2019. The public events include piano recitals throughout the city of Gijon, the Piano Marathon at Paseo de Begoña or homage to Clara Schumann at La Terraza del Botanico.
